Dunwoodie Youth Association Softball 

2026 Girls Spring Recreational & Travel Softball

The Dunwoodie Youth Association Softball Program runs from mid-April to late June and is open to girls ages 7–12.

Registration

All registrations must be completed online through our secure payment processing system at www.dyayonkers.com.

Once registration is complete, all players must attend an evaluation night to be assessed. After team selections, coaches will contact players with practice schedules and other important details.

Season Schedule & Details

  • Practices: Begin in early April, based on coach availability and field time.

  • Games: Start in mid-April and run through late June.

  • Ages 7–12: Practices and games are held on weeknights (Monday–Friday) between 6:00 PM and dusk.

  • Duration: Each session lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

This is an in-house program focused on skill development and fun. DYA Recreational Softball is proud to compete in the Greater Hudson Valley Yonkers Division.

Eligibility

We welcome players from Yonkers, The Bronx, New Rochelle, and Mount Vernon.

TeeBall - 2026 Spring

Swing into fun with Instructional Tee Ball! Designed for players (Boys & Girls) ages 4–6, our program is the perfect introduction to the game.

We focus on the basics—hitting, running, and catching—in a high-energy, non-competitive environment where the journey begins. By hitting off a tee, every child gets a chance to build confidence, stay active, and learn the joy of being part of a team. It’s about more than just baseball; it’s about making new friends and falling in love with the game!

  • When: Saturday mornings (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
  • Ages: 4–6

Divisions & League Play
  • Ages 7–15: Players are divided into girls’ divisions.

DYA baseball & softball will be playing in the Greater Hudson Valley Yonkers Division.
DYA will be partnering with MLB Play in late March and MLB Pitch, Hit, and Run in late June for both baseball & softball.
We are open to Yonkers, The Bronx, New Rochelle, and Mount Vernon.
