Program Overview & Cost
The DYA Youth Futsal Program offers high-quality, focused training and organized play designed to accelerate technical skill development during the winter months.
- Introductory Program Fee: $85 (Covers the full season)
Weekly Session Format (2 Hours of Fun!):
- 1 Hour Technical Clinic: Focused on intensive footwork and individual technique.
- 1 Hour Organized Game Play: Immediately following the clinic, players apply their new skills in a fast-paced 5v5 game session.
Note: The program fee covers the full two-hour session (Clinic + Game) each week for the entire season.

Essential DYA Futsal Rules
Futsal is the 5-a-side indoor version of soccer played with a low-bounce ball, designed to encourage quick passing and high-touch possession.

Key Rules
- 4-Second Rule: Restarts (kick-ins, corner kicks, free kicks) must be executed within four (4) seconds.
- Accumulated Fouls: After a team reaches five (5) direct free-kick fouls in a half, the next direct free-kick foul results in a penalty-style shot.
Mandatory Equipment & Safety
For the safety of all players and the integrity of the playing surface, the following equipment rules are strictly enforced:
- Footwear: Only flat-soled indoor soccer shoes are permitted. No outdoor cleats allowed.
- Protection: Shin guards are mandatory and must be worn under socks for all sessions (clinics and games).
- Ball Size: U8 teams use a Size 3 Futsal ball; 9+ teams use a Size 4 Futsal ball.

We strive to create a positive and safe environment for all players and staff.
Code of Conduct
We expect positive conduct from everyone involved. Parents are encouraged to cheer, but please refrain from coaching from the sideline. This allows the players to focus on the technical training provided by the coaches and encourages them to make independent decisions. League staff will enforce a strict sportsmanship policy.
Misconduct & Suspension
Any player or coach receiving a Red Card and ejected from a game will face a minimum one (1) game suspension for the next scheduled match.
